0 = Would never doze
1 = Slight chance of dozing
2 = Moderate chance of dozing
3 = High chance of dozing


Sitting and reading
Watching TV
Sitting inactive in a public place, such as at the theater or a meeting
As a car passenger for an hour without a break
Sitting quietly after a lunch without alcohol
Lying down to rest in the afternoon
Sitting and talking to someone
In a car, while stopped in traffic

Score Results

1-6: No need to worry
7-8: Within the average
9 and over: Seek medical advice
